Okay, Vista is not a big improvement, everyone gets it. Its pretty, adds a few new features, a few new headaches, and nobody really WANTS it. I would want Aero on my XP install if I didn’t use black box, but thats about it. I certainly dont want to be unable to use unsigned drivers or have to deal with your new attempt at security.

Vista though… is kind of pretty, has a few things going for it, and most imporantly, but it is new an interesting and fun.

Its not worth the price you are charging though Microsoft. It really isn’t. Its an update. It took you five years, and millions of dollars to make a new version of windows that really doesnt add anything that people WANT. From 98 (screw Windows ME) to XP was a huge improvement. From XP to Vista… not so much. Still though, you are charing TONS of money for this not very different version of Windows, one where you teased us with sexy new features and then ripped them out from under our awaiting keyboard fingers.

Then you slapped us in the face with all of these different versions. Shame on you.

I dont really want to switch to OSX… but at least Apple evolves their OS over time, and doesnt charge as much for the new versions. Learn from them, steal from them, your good at that.

Dont get me wrong. I still love my Windows XP install… but give me a sexy Open GL or Direct X GUI finally… PLEASE.

So… re-release Vista. Sell us Vista for what it is worth, 100 bucks or so, and sell it with all of the features.

Ill buy it then.
